The Butterfly

Some beautiful butterflies I found while I was in the campus hostel. Each of them has a different color and body size.

A butterfly is a species of insect. Along with butterflies, there are about 180,000 species of moths in the insect order Lepidoptera. Butterflies have six jointed legs. Also has a pair of antennae and three body parts called head, thorax and abdomen. Butterflies have four wings.

Four wings and six legs are attached to the butterfly’s chest. Special sensors on the legs of a butterfly or moth allow the insect to taste its food. The life cycle of a butterfly consists of four parts: egg, larva, pupa and adult. They fly during the day. Butterfly can be called as the most beautiful and innocent animal in the animal world. 

Carpenter Bird Nest    

Carpenter bird is “the king of the bird world.” Because it can create a beautiful bird’s nest. Also , this carpenter bird builds the bird’s nest very alone, and after it is half finished, it dances to attract a bird. Also after mating with a mate, the bird creates a long hanging part of the nest. But then this Baya weaver hands over the nest to its mate. Also he aims to build another nest and mate with another mate. They live in herds.

The build nests beautifully. The baya weaver creates a long nest that hangs down. The nests is below the entrance opening. Sometimes the nests has two floors. It has an inflated part like a ball. These cages are blocked so that they cannot go up. They place a lump of clay in the ball-shaped part of the nest to prevent the nest from swaying in the mind.

The streaked weaver does not arrange nests so that it hang down. The make their nests by weaving delicately between the palm trees. It looks green because it is made from green leaves. Then turns brown. It enters from below.

Freedom In The Life.   

This photo is a beautiful photo taken on the top floor of the campus hostel. This is my favorite place to relax while studying. The view from here is very beautiful. The green environment, the lake in the distance and the blue sea on one side are very beautiful.

Most of the time I go here alone. Very free here. The wind is bellowing a bit strongly and at that time I feel like listening to a beautiful song and looking around. Sometimes come here with friends.

One day while here, a beautiful green butterfly came to my hand. I shared a photo with you.

18 Bend Road 

This is a famous road from Kandy to Mahiyangana. There are actually 17 turns. This route is 41km long. This has attracted local and foreign tourists. When you travel there, you will have the experience of eating corn. So this is a photo taken at that time.

Ambastala Dagaba 

This photo was taken at the Mihintala sacred place when I went on a trip. We visited there that night and it was a very beautiful environment. The moon appeared beautifully that evening. This is the Ambastala Dagaba permises. This is a sacred place built on the Mihintala sacred ground.

It is believed that the Ambastala temple was built in the first century by the Naga King Mahadatika. King Kanitta Tissa ( 167-186 AD ) built a chetiyaghara or round house around it.

The Sea 

That day I went to the beach near the campus with my friend. It was a little late in the evening and the environment was very beautiful. The sky and the sea are very beautiful. As usual, while looking at this, it started to rain. Enjoyed time with friends and made many memories in life. You can always enjoy your life with the nature.
